Technical description

Section detail. Roof insulation. Insulation to existing room in roof with impermeable sarking.

Removal of existing ceiling and finishes (set aside for re-use), remove existing light fittings and set aside for re-use. Remove any existing timber mouldings. Check roofing membrane before installation of insulation.

  • Insulation Boards Or Batts Fitted Between Rafters

    Formaldehyde Free Glass mineral wool semi rigid batts friction fitted between rafters. \ Thickness: 35mm less than rafter depth. Width to suit rafter spacing. \ U-value: 0.032 W/m2k. GWP 0.
